The present study was carried out with the aim of developing a training model of the sports department of the central province with the interpretive structural modeling (ISM) approach. The research method was mixed and based on deductive-inductive reasoning. The statistical population of this research included sports and university experts and the purposeful sampling method was used to select sample people. The data collection tool was a questionnaire. Data analysis was done through SPSS and EXCEL software. Using exploratory factor analysis, the effective factors in the sports sector were divided into 6 main categories: (1) encouraging the private sector to invest in sports; (2) developing and equipping tourist routes; (3) strengthening sports infrastructure through government support; (4) optimal and principled use of human resources in different dimensions of sports; (5) using information technology in line with the development of sports goals; and (6) codified and organized planning in the field of sports. Then the interpretive structural model was used to develop the model.Key words: sports analysis, principal component analysis, interpretive structural model

The study is to examine the relationship between the self-efficacy and imagery ability with the performance of elite table tennis players. The statistical population included 57 elite table tennis players under the age of 21 years who managed to attend the national final tournament of single player to determine the rank of players from 1 to 32. Thirty-two of these players were randomly selected through the accessible sampling method. The research method was a descriptive-correlational one by which Bandura Personal Self-Efficacy (2009) (PSE) (α = 0/87(questionnaire was used as the tool for measuring data. Gold and Weisberg questionnaire was employed to measure internal-external mental imagery ability (2010) (α = 0/8 (. Data analysis was performed by using descriptive statistics as well as Spearman correlation coefficient to test the association between the self-efficacy and internal-external mental imagery ability and performance. The results indicated that there was a significant association between the external mental-imagery ability and performance, but no such relationship between the internal mental-imagery ability and performance. It was concluded that self-efficacy is a good predictor of performance in competition.
