The purpose of the present study is to identify the challenges and opportunities for funding the Veterans and Disabled Sports Federation. This research is an applied, field-type research that falls into the category of qualitative research. The statistical population of the present study is the knowledgeable experts in the field of research who include knowledgeable experts in the field of veterans, handicapped and university professors as well as marketing activists who reach the theoretical saturation based on snowball sampling method. Twenty people were identified as the sample of the study. Data gathering tools were qualitative interviews. In order to collect and analyze the data of the present research, the open coding process of the interviews was conducted with a total of 321 tags identified, which were classified into 7 categories in the first coding stage due to the thematic and conceptual proximity. The research results also showed that the causes of the importance of identifying the challenges and opportunities for funding the Veterans' and Disabled Sports Federation were 7 factors including the usual methods of financing, communication and media, resources, management and planning, reputation and international competition. (Medals received), organizational culture, and specific target audience these factors were categorized into two categories of challenges and opportunities. Finally, considering the results of the research, it is recommended that effective steps be taken towards establishing the mechanism and formulating the bylaws and arrangements for setting up a marketing committee and utilizing marketing professionals to achieve the funding goals of this federation.

The purpose of this research was to investigate and identify the methods of providing financial resources for sports organizations (Case study: Sport boards of Tehran province). The research method was descriptive and survey. The statistical population included members of the board of directors of sports committees, managers and experts of the General Directorate of Sports and Youth in Tehran (N=150). Sampling was done in a stratified random manner (N=112). The data was collected using a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was confirmed. To analyze the data, after determining the normality of the data, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis tests, structural equations and chi-square with SPSS and PLS software were used.The results showed the adequacy of the samples to perform exploratory factor analysis and the six factors of sponsores, public, fans and stakeholders, advertise and media, facility, product and services and sports events as methods of attracting resources. In terms of the current situation, the methods of using sponsors and receiving credits from the General Directorate of Sports and Youth (public) were the most frequent. Currently, sports teams are using different methods to provide financial resources based on the conditions of their sports fields, and familiarization with the new methods proposed in the research is suggested.

The purpose of this research was to design the financing model of Iranian sports federations. The research method was qualitative. This research was conducted in 6 phases, focusing on the "focus group" method. Qualitative interviews were used to collect information. Three stages of coding were used to analyze the data. The research model was drawn as a conceptual system framework based on the identified relationships. Finally, the research model was obtained in the focused research working group with the qualitative content analysis method (11 people). According to the conducted interviews, it was found that there are 6 main challenges of marketing, branding, communication, policy, facilities and laws related to the income generation of sports federations. Finally, it was found that sports federations can use financing methods in three general (marketing, branding, media and creation of industry and university units), macro (structural, event and rules) and specific sectors. According to the findings of the research, it can be said that Iranian sports federations have 3 main ways to secure their financial resources. General solutions that are fixed and applicable for all federations, specific solutions that are different according to the characteristics of each federation, and macro solutions that are not under the control of federations and upper institutions have the ability to influence them.

The study is to develop a canvas business model for sport club’s mascot. For this purpose and to get deep analysis, qualitative method of focus group was used. In this regard, experts who were aware of the subject elected as statistic group. Statistic sample was included of 7 experts from Iran's mascot workgroup in Ministry of Sport and Youth which was included faculty members from sport sciences research institute of Iran and sport managers in Ministry of Sport and Youth. To develop business model canvas, 3 sessions were hold and results gotten as follow: 7 concepts were found in value proposition part. In costumer part 15 concepts (6 concepts in customer segment, 5 concepts in distribution channel, and 6 concepts in customer relationship) were found. 13 concepts were found in infrastructure management part (5 concepts in key resources, 2 concepts in key activities and 5 concepts in key partners). At last, 8 concepts were found in finance aspect (6 concepts in revenue stream, 3 concepts in cost structure). Sport club mangers can use the research results to identify the found rising, cost parts, potential customers and costumer values of mascot. Also, understanding the communication channels and the sort of the relation can help the club to engage its fans.
