The study is to identify the factors of planning, attracting and selecting of talent management in Handball of IRAN. It is a qualitative research that has been done fundamentally. The data collection was done by studying documents and interviewing 15 handball experts which was continued by purposive sampling until theoretical saturation. The data was analyzed using open, axial and selective coding. The findings indicated the existence of 28 effective concepts in talent planning section which were categorized in 8 components: communication and interaction with institutions, appropriate organizational structure, designing strategic and operational plan, systematic evaluation and attitude, developing a structured and executive integrated model, increasing budget and financial resources, conducting research and studies, manpower training.
In talent attracting section, 25 effective concepts were classified into 6 components: media advertising, handball advertising and branding, the role of education, the role of universities and other institutions, the role of the general dimension of handball and the role of the specialized dimension of handball. Also in talent selecting section, 28 effective concepts were classified into 8 components: organizational factors, tests and indicators of talent identification, genetic factors, holding competitions, socio-mental factors, physical and motor skills, the role of talent identification coaches and facilities and equipment. Based on the results, these strategies can be helpful for government officials in talent management of Handball: communication and interaction with education, management and program stability, media coverage, support for coaches and handball champions, credibility and appropriateness of talent tests and indicators and adequate budget and financial resources,
