The study is to provide a comprehensive model for crisis management in holding sports events. The research method was qualitative and based on data foundation theory with a systematic approach. The statistical population included all experts and specialists in the theoretical field of research and senior sports managers with extensive executive experience in holding events in sports organizations. In this study, purposive sampling method was used based on theoretical approach and data collection was continued by snowball method until theoretical saturation of data (14 semi-structured individual interviews were conducted).
The findings showed strategies based on the pattern of resources and infrastructure, bedrock factors (expertise and characteristics of employees and staff; organizational management; organizational flexibility and speed and crisis assessment); Stakeholders (macro-laws, existing infrastructure and macro-management) Consequences of strategic policy-making; Efficient management (needs assessment and selection tailored to the need); Evaluation, change, adaptation and organization will be followed by a comprehensive model of crisis management.
