The study is to design a crowd funding model for national sports projects. The research method was qualitative with a systematic exploratory approach (content analysis approach). The research participants included all knowledgeable people (managers, professors and finance experts). The sample was taken in sufficient numbers and by judgmental method based on theoretical saturation (20 people). The research tools included semi-structured exploratory interviews with library study. The validity of the tool and framework was evaluated and confirmed based on the legal validity and scientific competence of the sample, expert opinion and agreement between the correctors. In order to analyze the findings, a multi-stage conceptual coding method with a system analysis approach was used.
The results showed that the conceptual framework includes 89 components, 23 dimensions, 8 perspectives and 3 conceptual levels. In accordance with the general model and conceptual framework, the sequence of impact-effectiveness relationships between model variables was from the level of application contexts to the level of characteristics of the crowd funding system and the level of mechanisms and functions of crowd funding of sports projects, respectively.
Based on the findings, it can be said that the application of crowd funding for national sports projects first requires a comprehensive understanding of environmental (external) contexts and systemic (internal) characteristics and then its processes and consequences. Therefore, it is suggested to the executive, marketing and financial managers in sports projects that for mass financing of projects, contrary to the traditional approach, they should not focus only on its organizational aspects and with a systemic view to analyze the interaction between different factors from Participants, brokers and the space of partnership between the two.
