The study is to investigate the factors associated with the quality of marriage counseling services and family consolidation by a systematic review. The data was collected based on 27 selected articles from among 72 articles published in valid domestic and foreign scientific-research databases up to 1400 (2022). To collect the data, the keywords of "services’ quality", "quality evaluation in counseling centers", and "services’ quality for clients" were searched. The articles were qualified through the Critical Assessment Skills Plan (CASP). The reliability of this study was based on the experts’ opinions and the validity was confirmed by Cohen's Kappa test.
The findings showed that the most important factors associating with the quality of marriage and family counseling services includes objective and tangible factors plus intangible factors namely, Reliability (Trust), Accountability and Credibility, Empathy and Rapport, and finally Accessibility and Responsiveness. According to the current research, the quality of services at counseling centers is affected by 43 indicators extracted from the mentioned 5 factors. The study findings illustrate the necessity of the re-evaluation and updating of the marriage and family counseling services. Also providing an accreditation system for quality assessment seems to be essential.
