The purpose of this research is to sociologically analyze and explain the strategies of the role of the family in sports socialization in volleyball. The current research method is qualitative with Glazer's approach and of an exploratory type. The statistical population of the current research is the professors and faculty members of the university in the fields of sociology, sports sociology who have the necessary expertise and familiarity in the field of research and research and who at least have articles, books, educational and research experience or teaching experience in this field. have the domain and also were international volleyball coaches and players. The sampling method was used as non-probability sampling, with targeted selection and with maximum diversity or heterogeneity. The sample size in this research was equal to 14 people based on the theoretical saturation index. The measurement tool was an open interview and was analyzed based on three stages of open, central and selective coding. The strategies include 6 main categories, including promoting sports culture in the family, parental intervention, family investment in children, creating a triangle of reinforcements, supporting family members to exercise, using methods to institutionalize sports; and 16 sub-categories such as creating sports habits in parents, recreation and leisure time in the family, strengthening internally interconnected networks among families, instrumental support in the family, the existence of encouraging rules in support of sports families, the existence of encouraging rules in the family, culture transfer Sports from parents to children,
