Students are the constructive force of the society and the construction, progress and excellence of the society depends on the efforts and efforts of this segment of the society. Therefore, efforts should be made to solve their mental concerns and problems. One of the concerns of students is finding a life partner, which in recent years, the leadership body in universities has provided the field for student marriage, this research has tried to examine the opportunities and challenges of such marriages. The current research is a qualitative phenomenological study in which 31 students were selected from Birjand universities through purposive sampling. Claysey's descriptive method was used to analyze the findings. The findings included 4 main themes, description of experiences, underlying factors, challenges and facilitating factors in student marriage. Each of these main themes were divided into several sub-themes. The findings showed that student marriage, despite the sweets and useful experiences it has, is accompanied by challenges such as the opposition and strictness of families, lack of conditions, lack of support from the university, financial and job problems, cultural differences, etc. Studentship and the success of these marriages require providing facilitators and solving challenges, including student loans for married students, supporting families and providing conditions.
