The Olympic Games is the most important international event for sports in Iran and all countries in the world, so the purpose of this research was to identify the key drivers of the national gymnastics team success in the 2028 Olympics. The research was mixed type (qualitative-quantitative) and its design was of sequential-exploratory type. The participants of research were the Managers of the gymnastics federation, coaches and players of the national gymnastics team, and international gymnastics coaches and referees of the country. The sampling method was snowball and based on theoretical saturation, 16 people were selected. Interviews and questionnaires were used to collect data, and Lincoln and Guba (1985) criteria were used for its audit. In order to analyze the data the coding method, the fuzzy Delphi and the structural analysis method were used. By analyzing the interviews, 62 initial concepts were gathered into 38 final concepts. Then, by performing a fuzzy Delphi screening, 16 effective factors were identified and finally it was determined that talent acquisition and talent development, investment in women's sports, sports diplomacy of the gymnastics federation and the number of participants in the Olympic Games are four driving forces for the success of the national gymnastics team in the 2028 Olympics. As a result, it is necessary to take into account their situation in designing the plans and actions of the national gymnastics team in the 2028 Olympics because any action and change on they will cause reactions and changes on other indicators.
