Appropriate news and media coverage is effective in promoting and improving the quality and quantity of women's sports for the general public, athletes and attracting sponsors. Therefore, the aim of the current research was to present a suitable news coverage model for women's sports. This study was conducted using a qualitative method with the foundational data theory approach. The statistical population of the research included sports experts and managers, media management professors and sports elites of East Azarbaijan province, 13 of whom were selected as research participants using the purposeful sampling method until reaching theoretical saturation. The data collection tool was a semi-structured and in-depth interview. After implementation, the data extracted from the interviews were analyzed with the qualitative data analysis software MAXQDA 2020 and with the three-step coding method of Strauss and Corbin. Data analysis led to the identification of 105 primary codes, 37 central codes and finally 4 main categories. The findings of the research included the main categories of "Women's Sports News Coverage Components", "Women's Sports News Coverage Factors", "Women's Sports News Coverage Consequences" and "Women's Sports News Coverage Solutions". It can be noticed and used by sports organizations and institutions and become effective in the field of media management, advertising and marketing of women's sports.
