The aim of the present study was to analyze the discourse of slogans used by the fans of the professional club Persepolis Tehran. The research method used in this study was qualitative, with a discourse analysis approach. Sampling in this method is purposeful. Based on this, 5 slogans were selected from all the slogans extracted from the fans of Persepolis Tehran in the past 50 years and were chosen as the sample size for this research. This research used the Laclau and Mouffe discourse analysis model for the desired analysis of the fans' slogans. The findings of the research indicate the identification of five approaches: heroic championship, superiority, rival intimidation, pride, and mythologizing in relation to the slogans of Persepolis fans as one of the prominent football clubs in Iran and Asia. In general, it is suggested in the field of slogans of the Iranian Premier League football fans that sports slogans and chants be pursued in an organized manner and in the context of team identities and goals. Creating positive slogans and avoiding derogatory ones presented by fan clubs will also contribute to the development of an effective fan system.
