This research is of a qualitative type, which is based on direct content analysis using existing literature and interviews with 15 selected experts (including officials of the boards, heads of powerlifting committees, international powerlifting judges and international powerlifting champions) Purposive sampling was performed. The analysis of the existing literature revealed three categories of infrastructural, technical-sports and social background factors effective in the development of powerlifting talent, which were expanded and completed in the next stage through semi-structured interviews. As a result of the analysis, four categories of infrastructural factors of talent acquisition and education and training of athletes, hardware equipment, budget and financial affairs, management and planning, two categories of the development of coaches and human resources, sports competitions and camps formed the technical-sports factors; Motivation and support of human resources were also included in the category of social background which used MAXQDA software for data analysis. Therefore, the development of powerlifting sport requires improving the social situation, basic infrastructure and technical factors. Therefore, it is necessary to help the federation managers in the development and progress of this matter by identifying the factors and providing solutions to speed up the talent development process هدف از این پژوهش، مطالعه عوامل موثر بر توسعه ی استعدادیابی ورزش پاورلیفتینگ بود. این پژوهش از نوع کیفی است که به شیوه ی تحلیل محتوای مستقیم و با استفاده از ادبیات موجود و مصاحبه با 15 نفر از خبرگان منتخب(شامل مسئولین هیات ها، روسای کمیته های پاورلیفتینگ، داوران بین المللی پاورلیفتینگ و قهرمانان بین المللی پاورلیفتینگ) به روش نمونه گیری هدفمند اجرا شد. تحلیل ادبیات موجود، سه دسته عوامل زیرساختی، فنی- ورزشی و بستر اجتماعی مؤثر در توسعه ی استعدادیابی ورزش پاورلیفتینگ را آشکار کرد که در مرحله بعد از طریق مصاحبه های نیمه ساختار یافته ،بسط داده و تکمیل شد. حاصل تحلیل ها، عوامل زیرساختی چهار مقوله ی استعدادیابی و آموزش و پرورش ورزشکاران ، تجهیزات سخت افزاری، بودجه و امور مالی ، مدیریت و برنامه ریزی ، دو مقوله ی پیشرفت مربیان و نیروی انسانی، مسابقات و اردوهای ورزشی عوامل فنی - ورزشی را تشکیل دادند؛ انگیزش و حمایت از منابع انسانی نیز در دسته ی بستر اجتماعی قرار گرفتند. که جهت تحلیل داده‌ها از نرم افزار مکس‌کیودا (MAXQDA) استفاده نمود . بنابراین، توسعه ی استعدایابی ورزش پاورلیفتینگ نیازمند بهبود وضعیت اجتماعی، زیرساخت های اولیه و عوامل فنی است . از اینرو، لازم است برای تسریع روند توسعه استعدادیابی، با شناسایی عوامل و ارایه ی راهکارها مدیران فدراسیون را در راستای توسعه و پیشرفت این مهم کمک کرد.
