Abstract

Today, sustainable development and green management are considered by organizations from all angles. In this regard, human resource management should help organizations achieve green goals. Accordingly, this study deals with the effect of green human resource management on the sustainable development of the Ministry of Sports and is a descriptive correlation. The statistical population includes managers and employees of the Ministry of Sports, the population of which is about 1200 people, according to Morgan table, the sample size is 297 people. Measurement tools include green human resource management and sustainable development questionnaires and Cronbach''s alpha coefficient was used to assess the reliability of variables and questionnaires. The data analysis method is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics using SPSS25 and the research model was tested using structural equation modeling technique in Smart PLS 3 software.
The findings showed Green human resource management has a positive impact on sustainable development. The component of individual factors and green strategy with a strong impact of 0/329 and 0/656 have a positive effect on sustainable development and the component of knowledge of values, organizational factors and process have not been able to play an effective role on sustainable development. Comparison of standardized regression coefficients shows that the impact of green human resource management on sustainable social development is equal to 0/539, on the environmental dimension is equal to 0/534 and on the economic dimension is equal to 0/347 which has been relatively strong.
The results showed that increasing the use of green human resource management components (awareness of methods, individual factors, organizational factors and green strategy process) has a positive effect on each dimension of sustainable development (social, economic and environmental).
